Brent crude oil prices fell sharply on Friday, giving back some recent gains after the White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump would postpone a decision on entering the war between Iran and Israel for two weeks.

At 14:50 Moscow time, Brent crude futures fell by 3.7% to $75.96 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate crude futures, which did not conclude trading on Thursday due to a holiday in the U.S., decreased by 0.9% to $72.86 per barrel.

Oil prices are still showing growth for the third consecutive week, as the absence of signs of de-escalation in the Middle East conflict keeps traders on edge due to potential supply disruptions.
