Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla, became the first person in history to surpass a net worth of $400 billion, after adding $62.8 billion to his fortune yesterday, of which $50 billion was due to a stock sale from his company SpaceX.
Musk has added $218 billion since the beginning of the year, benefiting from Donald Trump's success as President of the United States, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
According to the financial analysis unit of "Al-Iqtissadiya", Musk became the first person in the world to exceed a net worth of $300 billion and $400 billion, and his fortune has more than doubled 50 times in 10 years, from about $8 billion in 2014.
The CEO of "Tesla" has seen his wealth increase significantly since Trump's victory in the U.S. presidency, as Tesla's stock rose 75% to $424.8, raising its market value from $584 billion to $1.36 trillion.
