According to PANews, the European Union is requesting more details from the social platform X, formerly known as Twitter, about the structural changes following its acquisition by xAI from Elon Musk for 33 billion dollars. A spokesperson for the EU Commission stated that they are closely monitoring the structural changes of the company. Previously, reports indicated that EU regulators are assessing whether X could face fines for violating the Digital Services Act (DSA), with possible penalties reaching up to 6% of global revenues. Neither X nor xAI have responded to these inquiries.
