Ethereum (ETH$ETH ) mining was done using the "Ethash" algorithm through powerful computers (GPU). Miners solve complex mathematical problems to verify and record transactions on the blockchain, and they are rewarded with ETH coins. However, in September 2022, Ethereum transitioned from a "Proof of Work" system to a "Proof of Stake" system through an update known as "The Merge." As a result, it is no longer possible to mine Ethereum in the traditional way; the network is now secured through staking instead of mining. Therefore, ETH mining is no longer available at this time.
