The countdown for altcoins has already begun.

Once the beautiful country's stock market is fully tokenized, compliant stocks will be able to circulate on the blockchain and be listed on exchanges. Those altcoins sustained by empty promises and storytelling will basically have to pack up and exit.

COIN is doing this: turning on-chain securities into the mainstream. Many newly IPO'd stocks only have a market value of tens of millions or a couple of hundred million, which for retail investors, is not much different from small-cap coins—at least they are compliant with regulations and have real businesses.
