The countdown for the altcoins of $USDC has already begun.

Once the beautiful country's stock market is fully tokenized, compliant stocks will be able to circulate on the chain and be listed on exchanges. Those altcoins that rely on empty promises and storytelling will basically have to pack up and exit.

COIN is working on this, making on-chain securities mainstream. Many stocks that have just gone IPO have market values of only tens of millions or a couple of hundred million, which for retail investors is not much different from small-cap coins — but at least they are compliant with regulations and have real businesses.
