The Blockchain Group Acquires Additional 182 BTC, Profits from Bitcoin Strategy Are Astonishing

On June 18, 2025, The Blockchain Group – a technology company listed on Euronext Growth Paris – announced that it has acquired an additional 182 BTC, worth approximately 19.6 million USD, bringing its total Bitcoin holdings to 1,653 BTC, equivalent to over 172 million USD.

The newly purchased $BTC was acquired at an average price of approximately 107,692 USD/BTC, through Swissquote and Delubac banks, and is deposited at Taurus (Switzerland). This purchase was funded from a convertible bond issuance worth 18 million EUR and the conversion of 2.98 million stock options to raise an additional 1.6 million EUR.

The performance of the BTC Yield strategy of #TheBlockchainGroup since the beginning of 2025 has reached 1,173%, far surpassing major names like Strategy (19.1%), Metaplanet (266%), and Semler Scientific (26.7%).

This is the latest step in the goal of becoming the first Bitcoin treasury company in Europe, following the model that Strategy is successfully applying in the United States.

Although ALTBG shares have slightly decreased to 4.97 EUR after the news, they have still increased by over 1,450% since the company announced its Bitcoin accumulation strategy in November 2024 – reflecting strong investor confidence in this direction.
