Israel-Iran Conflict: A Growing Tension That Worries the World

For several years, relations between Israel and Iran have been marked by increasing hostility. The conflict is not limited to words: it includes cyberattacks, drone strikes, targeted assassinations, and indirect confrontations through armed groups like Hezbollah in Lebanon or militias in Syria.

🔴 In April 2024, a major event shook the region: Iran launched a direct attack against Israel, in response to an alleged Israeli strike on its consulate in Damascus. It was the first open state-to-state attack between the two countries, which heightened fears of a regional war.

🔵 Israel, for its part, remains firm in its position: to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, and to weaken Iranian influence in the region. This includes covert operations and strategic alliances with Arab countries that share these concerns.

⚖️ The international community, particularly the United States, Russia, and the European Union, is trying to calm tensions, but geopolitical, religious, and economic stakes make the situation very complex.

⏳ The future remains uncertain: a military escalation could disrupt not only the Middle East but also global markets, particularly the energy market and even the cryptocurrency market, due to regional instability.
