In this article, I share my personal trading strategy that aligns with my goals and personality. It is not financial advice, but an open invitation for everyone to share their unique methods in the "MyTradingStyle" campaign and win valuable prizes!
Are you ready to share your unique footprint in the trading world and inspire others?
Binance launched a fantastic campaign that gives us all this opportunity! By creating a post using the hashtag #أسلوبي_في_التداول and MyTradingStyle, you can enter the draw for a share of a total prize pool of 10,000 USDC!
On this occasion, I decided to start myself and share my own style, not as a rule to follow, but as a source of inspiration for you to discover what suits you.
My own style: "The Patient Strategist"
After some trial and error, I found that my style falls in the middle ground; I'm not a day trader seizing opportunities every minute, nor an investor forgetting his trades for years.
I am a swing trader combining fundamental and technical analysis.
Why this method?
Because it fits my life. It allows me to analyze the market deeply without having to stare at the screen all day.
It relies on patience, discipline, and seizing large price movements that occur over days or weeks.
My favorite strategy in three steps:
Step 1: Searching for the gem (Fundamental Analysis Phase)
Before I open the chart, I look for the "reason". What might drive the price of a currency to rise? I use Binance News and follow projects that have:
Upcoming updates (Mainnet launch, major update).
Important strategic partnerships.
A real solution to a market problem (Utility).
I create a shortlist of 3-5 promising currencies that have strong fundamental catalysts.
Step 2: Waiting for technical confirmation (Technical Analysis Phase)
This is where the chart comes in. I don’t buy directly, but wait for the "entry signal" technically. On the daily or 4-hour timeframe, I look for:
Breaking an important resistance level: or re-testing it and turning it into support.
Positive crossover of moving averages: like the 20 EMA crossing above the 50 EMA.
Relative Strength Index (RSI): I prefer to enter when there is upward momentum without reaching the overbought zone (above 70).
Step 3: Strict risk management (Protection Phase)
This is the most important step. There is no trade guaranteed 100%. Therefore:
Stop-Loss: I always place it below a clear support level. My rule is not to risk more than 2% of my portfolio on any trade.
Take-Profit: I set my target at the next resistance level, aiming for a risk-to-reward ratio of at least 1:2 (meaning the potential profit should be at least double the potential loss).
In summary: Trading is an art and a science
My style relies on combining a strong project story (science) with perfect entry timing (art), with a large dose of patience.
It may not be the fastest style, but it gives me peace of mind and confidence in my decisions.
Now it's your turn to inspire others!
