Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran, warned in a post to X on Wednesday that a U.S. attack on Iran in support of Israel "without a doubt will cause irreparable damage."
In comments carried by Iran's semi-official state news agency Khamenei said: "War will be met with war, bombing with bombing, and strike with strike. Iran will not submit to any demands or dictates."
