$USDC A seasoned expert at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) breaks his silence on the Ripple case amid new developments. In a new development in the Ripple lawsuit against the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), both parties have asked the Second Circuit Court to temporarily suspend the appeals until a guidance ruling is requested. The SEC is now expected to provide a case update by August 15, 2025. Last week, Ripple and the SEC renewed their request for a guidance ruling after Judge Torres denied the request in May. As the mid-August deadline approaches for the SEC's next update request, the XRP community is filled with anticipation. Speculation is increasing about whether Judge Torres will modify any part of her ruling and what the outcome of the guidance ruling request will be. A supporter of XRP on X said: "I would be puzzled if they denied the reapplication. Do you think we should tell people that if things go south and either one or both continue their appeals, the case will be returned to Torres?"
