The software acquisition will be valid for 36 months, with the right to technical support and practical usage training.
The National Secretariat of Public Security (SENASP), linked to the Ministry of Justice and Public Security (MJSP), opened a bidding process to hire specialized software for locating, tracking, and analyzing cryptocurrency transactions.
The bidding notice was signed by the auctioneer Márcio Rios Bezerra, published on Tuesday (17) on the federal government's purchasing portal. The process will be conducted in the electronic auction modality, linked to the General Services Administration Unit (UASG).
According to the announcement, the government's objective is to establish a price record for the acquisition of the tool for a period of 36 months, with the right to technical support and knowledge transfer in a 'hands-on' format — that is, with practical training for the system operators.
The content of the announcement suggests that the hiring aims to reinforce the federal government's capacity to monitor financial movements involving cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin.
The announcement is now available on the website www.gov.br/compras. Interested parties can submit electronic proposals with a final opening deadline on July 4, 2025, at 10 AM.
