GREED
A madman finds a large sum of money in a bush and cries out: "I have seen death! I have seen death! I have seen death!"
Suddenly, at the same spot, three young men who were going to work in a nearby field arrived and headed towards the place to see what the madman called "death."
Upon arriving at the scene, they saw that it was bundles of ten thousand Congolese Francs that he called death. The three men said to each other: "Before we share, let one of us go to the city first to buy food."
Among them, they designated someone. That person, upon arriving in the city, said to himself: "Is it not good that I poison this food so that these fools eat and die so that I alone can take this colossal sum?"
"A thing said, a thing done."
At the same time, the other two were already saying to each other: "That fool, when he gets here, we must kill him so we can share this amount between the two of us?"
Thus said, as soon as they finished making their decision, the man who had gone to get food in the city appeared. Suddenly, they pounced on him, asphyxiating him until they succeeded in taking his life. 😭
After the two men finished eating all the food, they also died. 😭
Did the madman see death, yes or no? Yes.
Dear brothers, let us be very careful with money because in 1 Tim 10:6 it is written: << For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. Some, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. >>
May the Lord bless you!
