$USDC NEWS - The U.S. Senate on Tuesday passed a bill that sets a regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies directly tied to the dollar, which now moves the bill to a vote in the House of Representatives.
The bill, named the GENIUS Act, was supported by both Democrats and Republicans and was approved by a vote of 68-30. The bill will now head to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives before it can be sent to President Donald Trump for signing.
