🧠 XRP case update – Two courts, one final step
Many are confused:
“If Ripple and the SEC already agreed, why are we still waiting?”
Here’s the simple truth:
1. Judge Torres = The main judge who handled the case
2. Second Circuit Court = The appeals court waiting in case of disagreement
✅ Ripple & SEC have now settled
✅ On June 12, they asked Judge Torres to close the case with right fillings docs (wrong fillings was used in may)
🕒 Now we wait for her to approve it.
The August 15 deadline is only for the SEC to send a status update to the appeals court – not for Judge Torres to rule.
👉 She can issue her final decision any day now.
Once she does, the case is officially closed. XRP will have full legal clarity.
