On June 5, 2025, Circle (NYSE: CRCL), the issuer of USDC, debuted at $31 and surged ≈168% on day one—closing near $83—marking one of the strongest U.S. tech IPOs in recent years . That success reflects a powerful vote of confidence in both Circle and its flagship stablecoin USDC.

As of June 12, 2025, USDC is natively available across 21–22 blockchains, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Solana, Algorand, Avalanche, ZKsync, XRPL, and World Chain. It also recently launched natively on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), enabling seamless access via Circle Mint and APIs.

Circle also upgraded bridged USDC to native USDC on World Chain, improving transparency and integration via CCTP V2.

Circle continues to release monthly attestations by Big Four auditors (Deloitte/Grant Thornton). As of mid‑June, USDC circulation stands at around $60.94 billion, each token backed 1:1 by liquid assets, primarily cash and government funds .
