But the main thing to watch is not the rate decision it’s the press conference by Jerome Powell that happens right after.
Because of the ongoing tension between Iran and Israel, many people believe oil prices could reach $100 this year. If oil gets expensive, inflation might rise again. That could cause the Fed to delay any future rate cuts.
