Significant News on Franklin Templeton's Proposed Ripple (XRP) ETF: Information

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has postponed the decision on the Ripple (XRP) ETF application by Franklin Templeton. The SEC is soliciting public opinions on whether the proposal, earlier slated for listing on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), should be approved or rejected.

The deadline for submitting comments and rebuttals is slated for the end of July. Franklin Templeton is notably the largest firm to have applied for a spot XRP ETF. This delay, however, does not reflect the SEC's final decision on listing the product. Such delays are customary and within the SEC's authority.
