According to Cryptonews, the Prosecutor's Office of Krasnoyarsk Krai in Russia reported the seizure of an illegal cryptocurrency mining farm in the Nazarovo industrial area. The mining site covers an area of 30,000 square meters and is equipped with multiple transformers, generators, and cooling equipment, generating a monthly revenue of approximately 4.6 million rubles (about 58,700 USD), and illegally connected to the municipal power grid for operation. Investigations revealed that the facility was registered as a non-residential building but was actually rented by a mining company to operate in a 'non-existent building,' without an electricity usage permit, occupying state-owned land, and posing fire hazards. The court has ruled for the complete shutdown of the mining site until rectifications are completed.
