According to PANews, a senior executive from Spanish financial giant Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) has advised affluent clients to invest up to 7% of their portfolios in cryptocurrencies. This recommendation marks a growing acceptance of the digital asset sector, which has traditionally been avoided by mainstream finance due to risk concerns. Philippe Meyer, head of digital and blockchain solutions at BBVA's Swiss division, shared this insight during the DigiAssets conference in London. BBVA's private banking division suggests that clients allocate between 3% and 7% of their investment portfolios to cryptocurrencies, depending on their risk tolerance.
