Cardano has announced the integration of the XRP token into its ecosystem, as part of a token distribution event known as "Glacier Drop".
The event will include the distribution of NIGHT tokens (for governance) and DUST tokens (for privacy) to 37 million wallets, provided that the users are individuals and not institutions.
Cardano's Lace wallet has now added support for XRP, enhancing its cross-network capabilities.
Discussions are currently underway between Cardano and Ripple to add support for the stablecoin RLUSD (Real USD) to the Cardano network.
These steps represent a significant shift in the relationship between Cardano and XRP after previous tensions, and indicate deeper collaboration in the future, especially in the areas of privacy and decentralized finance (DeFi).
