Her management company Y1 Entertainment stated on the 17th that Hwang Jung-eum has repaid the amounts withdrawn as debts from Xunmin Jung-eum Entertainment on the 30th of last month and the 5th of this month. Previously, around 2022, Hwang Jung-eum embezzled 4.34 billion won from Xunmin Jung-eum Entertainment and invested 4.2 billion won in virtual currency, and is being tried for violating the Specific Economic Crimes Aggravated Punishment Act (embezzlement).
