Co-founder of Black Swan Capitalist Vandell Aljarrah published a conversation with Kiyosaki on social media, urging investors to reconsider their strategy for saving accumulated funds. He criticized traditional finance, stating that people have a dangerous dependence on fiat money. Kiyosaki called the desire to hold dollars unreasonable, given the rise of inflation and the policies of central banks that are printing money in large volumes, which decreases the value of government currencies.
"Don't you see what's happening? People still prefer to hold dollars. There is brainwashing going on. Why aren't you saving XRP and bitcoin? Why are you holding these dollars?" Kiyosaki said.
Prior to his statements, XRP was trading below $0.50, but now the coin's price has risen to $2.18. The daily trading volume of XRP is $1.84 billion, and its market capitalization stands at $128.62 billion. Kiyosaki has always supported investments in bitcoin and precious metals, particularly gold and silver, so his statements about XRP may have contributed to the rise in the coin's price.
Furthermore, this could indicate growing confidence among investors in the altcoin, as the company Ripple, which issues XRP, expands its presence in the international market, and the cryptocurrency is increasingly used for international payments.
Recently, Kiyosaki recommended that people gradually buy bitcoin, even if they are in a difficult financial situation. Otherwise, in a few years, they may regret their inaction and missed opportunity.
