President Trump will leave the G7 Summit in Canada a day early due to the tense situation in the Middle East. He will depart tonight after dinner with the national leaders.

President Trump stated that a new economic agreement with Canada is possible, but emphasized that tariffs must play a role in it. However, Canada’s Ambassador to Washington, Ms. Kirsten Hillman, affirmed Canada’s position that exports to the U.S. should not be taxed.
