In the past month, ETH's ETF has seen net inflows every day, which should have resulted in a price surge—
but the reality is: ETH's price has hardly increased and sometimes even declines.
That leaves us with two possibilities:
1️⃣ Either the data is inflated, and there isn’t actually that much real money flowing in;
2️⃣ Or there are large whales or umbrella accounts continuously selling off, offsetting all the ETF buying pressure.
Whichever it is, it indicates that the current market is a bit overheated.
Don’t just focus on the news about "institutions buying"; the funds have arrived, yet the market remains quiet, which is quite unusual in itself.
