The Bitcoin and cryptocurrency markets continue to be on fire as tensions in the Middle East escalate, especially after U.S. President Donald Trump withdrew early from the G7 summit and posted a concerning message regarding Tehran.

According to Reuters, Mr. Trump has requested the National Security Council to prepare for an emergency meeting in the White House Situation Room after unexpectedly leaving the G7 summit in Canada on Monday. Earlier, he had written on the Truth Social platform: “Everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran!” — a shocking warning.

Press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Mr. Trump will go to Canada on Sunday to attend the G7, but will withdraw early due to the escalating Israel-Iran conflict. “Many positive results have been achieved, but due to the unstable situation in the Middle East, President Trump will leave immediately after dinner with the leaders,” Ms. Leavitt stated, according to CBS News.

Bitcoin lost more than $2,000 in just a few hours

Immediately following Mr. Trump's message, the price of Bitcoin reacted negatively, dropping sharply by 2%, falling from a daily high of $108,780 to $106,421, before recovering slightly.

Overall, this coin remains within the accumulation zone established since early May, after returning to the $100,000 mark and maintaining above this threshold until now.
