After the announcement that the President of the United States, Donald Trump, is withdrawing tonight from the Group of Seven (G7) summit, the press team of the Presidency of Mexico emphasized that President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo's agenda "continues: to remember that she has very relevant bilateral meetings with India, Canada, the European Council, Germany, and her intervention in the G7 plenary, where she will make a relevant statement."

The Mexican president will not attend the G7 dinner.

Sheinbaum Pardo is currently holding a meeting with Canadian businessmen.

In the same hotel where this part of the delegation is taking place, those who were to accompany her to the bilateral meeting that had been agreed upon for this Tuesday with Trump are present.

Foreign Minister Juan Ramón de la Fuente; Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard; Mexico's Ambassador to the United States, Esteban Moctezuma; Secretary of Security and Citizen Protection Omar García Harfuch; and Mexico's representative at the World Bank, Diana Alarcón, among others, are present.

Representatives of the Mexican media are waiting outside the Sheraton hotel for any statement.
