Metaplanet's shares rose over 20% after announcing its latest BTC purchase and a bond issuance worth 210 million dollars to buy even more.
The latest purchase of 1,112 BTC by the Japanese investment company Metaplanet has finally raised its total Bitcoin portfolio to 10,000 BTC,
surpassing Coinbase as the seventh largest listed company with a treasury in BTC.
Despite the recent drop, where Bitcoin fell from 110,000 to 103,000 dollars in three days due to geopolitical tensions,
the demand from institutional investors has remained stable.
