Vietnam legalizes crypto based on new digital technology laws.

The law classifies digital assets into two categories: virtual assets and crypto assets.

Although both rely on encryption or digital technology for validation and transfer,

neither includes securities, digital fiat currencies, or other financial instruments.

The law also mandates cybersecurity protection and anti-Money Laundering measures aligned with international norms,

a move likely aimed at addressing the concerns of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).$BTC
