$BTC Cryptocurrency is not a legal means of payment: Cryptocurrencies are still not recognized as a legal means of payment in Vietnam. Their use in daily transactions is subject to penalties.

Recognition of digital assets (in development): The government is working on establishing a legal framework to recognize cryptocurrencies and digital assets as investment assets or digital property. This is currently the main focus of regulatory efforts.
