Pakistan and Michael Saylor will work together

For a few months now, Islamabad has aimed to become a major player in the global crypto scene, and the country inaugurated the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) last March. This initiative is led by Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb and orchestrated by Bilal Bin Saqib, the Almighty Minister of State in charge of blockchain and crypto.

The latter has just returned from an American tour during which he met President Trump and several important figures, including the very popular mayor of New York. On Sunday evening, the two State Ministers of Pakistan had a conversation with the CEO of Strategy, who has since become an advisor to the country, as reported by local media.

The king of corporate bitcoins was pleased with this interview and showed optimism about the country's project in Central Asia:

"Markets give me billions because they trust me (…) trust is the most important thing with leadership (…) If the world trusts you and hears your words, capital and talent will flow to Pakistan. They are there, they are ready! Moreover, you have the most important thing, your will and commitment, I look forward to working with you!"

A policy with Bitcoin and crypto at the center of concerns

Michael Saylor then recalled the stakes of such a policy while praising the country and Bitcoin:

"Pakistan has many brilliant people. It also benefits from the commitment and clarity that businesses around the world need. As for Bitcoin, it is the most powerful asset for long-term national resilience. Emerging markets like Pakistan have a unique opportunity to leap into the future of finance."

For the crypto gentleman of Pakistan, the arrival of the boss of Strategy is obviously a guarantee of quality and expertise:

"In five years, Mr. Saylor transformed a software SME into a $100 billion company, thanks to his strategic vision, bold convictions, and execution rigor. If individuals can create this in the United States, why can't Pakistan, as a nation, do the same? We have the talent, the history, and the energy."

The foundations of their collaboration are now laid, and the first decisions should not be long in coming. We remember that last April, the Pakistan Crypto Council recruited another highly important figure from the global crypto ecosystem, a certain Changpeng Zhao! With these two as advisors, Pakistan's crypto projects should take off soon!
