Vietnam has just taken a historic step: on June 14, 2025, it approved the Digital Technology Law, becoming the first country in the world to officially legalize cryptocurrencies through independent legislation.
🔐 Starting from January 1, 2026, crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum will have legal recognition, with a clear regulatory framework that distinguishes between virtual assets and crypto assets, excluding traditional securities and central bank digital currencies.
💡 The goal: attract investment, boost innovation, and exit the FATF grey list with top-level AML standards.
