#MetaplanetBTCPurchase Metaplanet buys an additional 117 million USD in Bitcoin, surpassing 10,000 BTC held

On the morning of June 16, Metaplanet – a software company listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange – announced the issuance of 210 million USD in zero-interest bonds to buy more Bitcoin.

This deal has officially raised the total number of BTC held by the company to 10,000 BTC (over 1 billion USD), surpassing the 9,267 BTC currently held by Coinbase.
