What is Sophon?

Sophon is a ZK (zero-knowledge) chain within the ZKsync Elastic Chain, a network of interoperable blockchains that use zk proofs for scalability and efficiency. Sophon prioritizes consumer-oriented applications, such as games, social platforms, and digital experiences. Its goal is to integrate cryptocurrency into everyday activities, making it accessible to non-crypto audiences through intuitive and user-centered platforms.
