Trump's Latest Statement: Iran and Israel 'Will Reach an Agreement' to Suspend Conflict
According to a report by CNN on June 15, US President Trump posted on the 'Truth Social' platform that Iran and Israel 'will reach an agreement' to suspend conflict. Trump stated, 'Iran and Israel should reach an agreement, and they will definitely reach an agreement.' He added that multiple calls and meetings are currently taking place, and he will be the one to facilitate this agreement, although Trump did not provide any details.
Previously, Trump had stated that the US 'is not involved in Israel's attacks on Iran', warning Iran that if it retaliates against the US, 'the full force and firepower of the US armed forces will fire upon you with unprecedented intensity.'
On the 15th, the Israeli government stated that Iran had launched over 200 missiles at Israel, resulting in at least 13 deaths, including 3 minors, and at least 380 injuries, with 9 in serious condition. The Israeli government reported that there were a total of 22 missile landing sites within Israel. Iran's state television announced that Iran launched a new round of missile attacks on Israel on the 15th. The Israel Defense Forces stated that alarms sounded in multiple areas of Israel after discovering that Iran had launched missiles at Israel. On the same day, the Israeli military warned Iranians to immediately evacuate 'weapons production facilities'; the BBC reported that this might indicate that the Israeli military is planning new attacks.
