President Donald Trump asserted this Sunday that the United States was not involved in the recent attack on Iran, amid the ongoing military escalation between Tehran and Israel. In a post on Truth Social, the president stated that "the United States had nothing to do with tonight's attack on Iran."
The statements came after Iran threatened the United States and its allies not to intervene or support Israel in attacks launched by Tehran.
The US president also issued a direct warning: "If Iran attacks us in any way, the full force and might of the United States Armed Forces will descend upon you at levels never before seen."
Trump also pointed to the possibility of a diplomatic resolution: "We can easily reach an agreement between Iran and Israel and end this bloody conflict."
