Binance Alters Alpha Points: Alpha Token Trading Volumes Excluded
Binance has announced a significant update to its Alpha Points calculation, effective June 17, 2025. Moving forward, trading volumes of Alpha token pairs will no longer contribute to Alpha Points statistics.
This change aims to enhance market stability and fairness, particularly after recent volatility observed in some Alpha tokens. Binance stated that it seeks to reduce systemic risks and promote a more equitable reward structure for its users.
The Alpha Points system is Binance's loyalty program, granting users exclusive access to features like Megadrop, Token Generation Events (TGEs), and airdrops. This adjustment encourages users to engage in a wider array of activities beyond just Alpha token trading to earn points.
