$XRP Chris Larsen – co-founder and executive chairman of Ripple Labs. He actively supports various charitable initiatives. In 2014, Larsen pledged to donate 7 billion XRP, but did not disclose which organization.

In 2018, Larsen and Ripple donated $29 million to the DonorsChoose.org fund, which helps public schools in the USA. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they also donated $1 million each to five food banks in San Francisco. A year later, Larsen, along with his wife Lina Lam and the nonprofit organization Rippleworks, donated $25 million in XRP to San Francisco State University, where the co-founder of Ripple Labs studied.

In June 2025, Larsen also donated $9.4 million to the San Francisco police. The funds were directed towards upgrading surveillance technology.
