Discuss why I am continuously bearish on nxpc, this is just one perspective, for reference only.
Many people may not play MapleStory or may not be familiar with Nexon (the market maker). I personally started playing MapleStory twenty years ago and have played on and off for about five or six years, so I am very aware of the company's tendencies. Therefore, I am personally not optimistic about this project. The fundamental logic behind the last surge was that the officials unlocked nearly 1,000 tokens, but at that time the price had already dropped to a new low. To cover their own sales, the market maker used a dual insurance strategy: locking in all player outputs (to prevent a crash) + buying fake news (detailed strategies can be referenced in my previous articles), combined with a perfect opportunity as BTC and ETH happened to be bearish. It is just uncertain whether Tencent had completed their sales when they issued the clarification. If they have sold out, I will continue to be bearish; if not, there might be other surprises that could drive up the token price. Personally, I remain bearish.
Regarding the endless studio incidents, I feel that the underlying code of the game is based on logic from twenty years ago (commonly known as a 'shit mountain'), making it very difficult to completely defend against some of the new types of attacks. Cheating has been rampant in MapleStory for over 20 years, and clearly, the Nexon server cannot solve this completely, and it needs to be viewed rationally.
