The giant whale is short selling these 16 alternative cryptocurrencies, making huge profits
According to on-chain analyses, a cryptocurrency whale, starting with the address "0xa31", has sold a total of 16 alternative coins, most of them $ETH and $PEPE and $DOGE , through Hyperliquid since June 12.
The total volume of the whale's positions is $57.5 million. So far, 14 out of the 16 short positions are profitable, leading to a total unrealized profit of $3.56 million.
The positions of DOGE and XRP particularly draw attention:
Profit from the short DOGE position: $2.49 million
Profit from the short XRP position: $1.41 million
However, it seems that the whale's short position in HYPE token has lost $3.19 million, making it the largest loss.
