How are transaction fees deducted? A clear explanation of the exchange's deduction mechanism
Many people think that 'transaction fees' are just a small amount, but if you use leverage, it could be your biggest expense.
Taking Binance as an example, the contract trading fee is approximately 0.05%:
Going long once: deducts 0.05%
Closing position once: deducts another 0.05%
If you operate with 10,000 U, back and forth it's 10 U.
Frequent traders might unknowingly contribute hundreds of U in fees in a single day.
And these fees, the platform is actually willing to return a portion to you, if you have a rebate link.
This is not the platform 'giving you money', but a cost subsidy that you should have received back.
Without a rebate, every operation is just giving away money for free.
