Recently saw a teasing tweet in the community about getting qualified for Binance Alpha, it was so real that I couldn't help but organize it into an 'evolution rule' version. Let's see how we went from 'anyone can participate' to 'ascending to the throne'.
📜 Alpha qualification evolution history · Unofficial version.
🔹 V1.0: As long as you have hands, it's fine
Rules: Completely open, no points required
The Alpha project back then was like the DeFi summer, full of fantasies and possibilities. As long as you showed up, there was a chance.
🔹 V2.0: Increase the threshold, points are required
Rules: Start introducing a points mechanism
The concept of 'contribution' has emerged, and getting in is no longer casual; you need to be 'active' first.
🔹 V3.0: Points are still not enough; you also need to purchase
Rules: Points + Limited-time purchase
Having qualification is not enough; you need speed, network speed, luck, and not miss out due to meetings.
🔹 V4.0: Compete fiercely, even exams are here
Rules: Lottery + Purchase + Exam
Winning the lottery doesn't mean you can buy; you still have to take an exam. Answering incorrectly leads to elimination, questioning if you've read enough.
🔹 V5.0: Online is not enough, starting in-person interviews
Rules: Must go to Dubai for an in-person interview
The threshold has been raised again; you must fly to Dubai to meet in person. The project team starts to pick people, not just looking at wallets, but also at your face and aura.
🔹 V6.0: Not only interviews, but also need to be 'enthroned'
Rules: Dubai interview + become an officially certified 'prince'
Qualification is no longer about participation, but whether you are 'pre-selected'. From now on, Alpha no longer belongs to mortals.
🔹 V7.0: Successfully cultivating, becoming Satoshi Nakamoto
Rules: You no longer need Alpha, you are Alpha
Final form: The project works for you, the team circles around you, you are the 'faith anchor point' of the industry.
✍️ My thoughts:
The pace of development in the crypto world is incredibly fast, even participating in an Alpha requires 'step-by-step cultivation', but this also indicates that - opportunities have decreased, quality may have increased, the threshold has risen, which means the market is becoming more mature (of course, it's also becoming more competitive).
Which stage are you currently in?
