In the early days of Cardano, when it was still just a promise written in the margins of a technical document by Charles Hoskinson, something peculiar happened.
It was 2017. An anonymous user on a dark forum —one of those that no longer exist— posted a cryptic message:
"The third generation will arrive when the scales tip towards Ouroboros. ADA will be the key. Beware of the fourth quarter."
Many took it as mere speculation. But those who bought ADA at that time —for less than 0.03 USD— ended up witnessing an almost mystical ascent. One of them, known only as "VoxOrbis" on Reddit, claimed to have dreamed of the Cardano logo on a snowy mountain before its historic rise.
Coincidence? Psychological effect? Or something more?
Since then, Cardano has not only survived the crypto winters, but continues to expand with an almost ritualistic precision: updates named Byron, Shelley, Goguen… like steps carefully laid out by a superior mind.
Today, many follow ADA as one follows a prophecy.
And in certain circles... the true fourth quarter is still awaited.
