Currently, there is considerable heated debate in the Cardano community. Crypto analyst Marty Party compared the TPS (transactions per second) of Cardano and Solana. Solana has reached nearly 40,000 TPS, while Cardano's current TPS is only 1.3. However, Cardano's "Extended UTXO" model theoretically supports hundreds of TPS, indicating its scalability potential.
Another controversial issue arose when a venture capital fund named 3UTxO requested 200 million ADA from Cardano's treasury. The community reacted strongly to this, expressing concerns about misappropriation of funds and central control.
Furthermore, a $100 million stablecoin liquidity proposal led to a 6% drop in ADA's price. Charles Hoskinson supported it, but the community appears divided.
