Cardano Debate – Is the ‘academic’ blockchain being underestimated or is it too late?
Cardano (ADA) has always been a focal point of debate in the crypto community: one side sees it as a serious blockchain, thoroughly researched, while the other argues it is too slow and lacks practical breakthroughs.
Based on academic grounds, Cardano implements every upgrade step using a peer-reviewed method. This helps stabilize the platform, but also slows down the deployment of features compared to Ethereum or Solana.
However, Cardano still has a large community, an expanding ecosystem, and DeFi projects, digital identity (Atala Prism) that have practical applications in Africa.
The question arises: does slow but steady win over quick but risky?
The debate about Cardano is not just about speed, but about the philosophy of building a sustainable blockchain – will the market be patient enough to wait for it?
