IDF spokesperson Brigadier General Effie Defrin stated in a statement that "during a precise operation at night, over 100 targets across Iran were attacked in five consecutive hours. Leaders of the nuclear program were targeted, and high-ranking leaders and commanders were also eliminated. We have been monitoring developments in Iran for years."

He also added that Iran has launched over 100 drones towards Israel. The IDF is working on intercepting them. The drones are expected to reach Israel in about three to five hours. Simultaneously, the Air Force is preparing for a missile attack that may begin around the same time the drones arrive.
