"The Lost Bitcoin"
In the crowded streets of Karachi, a young man named Saqib worked as a mobile phone technician. He wasn’t rich, but he had dreams—big dreams. One night, while scrolling YouTube, he watched a video titled “Bitcoin: The Future of Money”. Curious and a little skeptical, he clicked it.
The video spoke of digital gold, a currency not controlled by any bank, and how someone once bought two pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins—now worth millions.
"Agar yeh sab such hai," Saqib thought, "toh mein bhi kuch kar sakta hoon."
The next day, he downloaded a Bitcoin wallet on his old Samsung Galaxy A16. He couldn't buy much, but every day he saved a little—sometimes Rs. 100, sometimes Rs. 500—and bought tiny fractions of Bitcoin.
Years passed.
One day, Saqib received a strange message from his wallet app:
"Your Bitcoin balance: 1.05 BTC – Current value: $65,000"
He blinked. Checked again. It was real.
Heart pounding, he ran to his mother.
"Ammi, mein ameer ho gaya hoon!"
His mother, confused, replied, “Lekin Saqib, paisay toh nazar nahi aa rahay!”
He explained Bitcoin to her as best he could, and soon he was at a local crypto exchange office. After verification and patience, he withdrew enough rupees to buy a small flat, pay off debts, and even help a few struggling friends.
He didn’t sell all his Bitcoin—just enough.
"The rest," he told himself, "is for Huda, my future daughter. She’ll grow up in a world where she’ll never doubt her worth—or her father's dreams."
And from that day, Saqib wasn’t just a mobile technician. He was a believer in the future, a silent warrior of the digital revolution.
