Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the IDF’s airstrikes on Iran as “a targeted military operation to roll back the Iranian threat to Israel’s very survival,” vowing it will continue “as long as necessary.”
CBS News confirmed Israel was prepared to act, prompting the U.S. to warn of possible Iranian retaliation and advise non-essential personnel to leave the region.
The U.S. was not involved in the strikes or intelligence sharing. Secretary of State Marco Rubio emphasized, “Iran should not target U.S. interests or personnel.”
