The conflict between Israel and Iran, which has long been rooted in religious, geopolitical, and security interests, has escalated. Israel is concerned that Iran's development of nuclear weapons poses a threat to its national security, while Iran views Israel as the agent of Western powers in the Middle East. Both sides occasionally engage in indirect confrontations through proxy forces in Syria, Lebanon, and other regions, exacerbating regional instability. Since 2024, the frequency of military escalations between the two has increased, raising deep concerns in the international community about the worsening situation. This conflict not only impacts the dynamics of the Middle East but could also affect global energy supply and political balance. Only through diplomatic negotiations and multilateral cooperation can we prevent the situation from spiraling further out of control, leading to significant loss of life and economic damage. Peace, although difficult, remains the only sustainable way forward.
