$9.64 million splurged on ETH,

Is the giant whale stirring up trouble again?

On-chain monitoring platform @OnchainLens discovered that a crypto whale purchased 3,810 ETH off-market through the FalconX platform, spending approximately $9.64 million, averaging about $2,530 per coin!

Recently, the enthusiasm of whales for ETH has been unstoppable. There was a big player who hoarded 5,362 ETH for $7.2 million, and someone even mortgaged ETH to borrow 4.5 million DAI for asset allocation; there’s even a whale who splurged $283 million, gradually buying over 100,000 ETH. However, there are also discrepancies in the market; on one side, some are frantically increasing their positions, while on the other, a whale sold short 10,000 ETH at an average price of $1,791, and is currently facing losses.

It’s worth noting that the actions of whales are often seen as a market trend—when they buy a lot, retail investors may follow suit, causing prices to rise; but if one day a whale suddenly dumps their holdings, it could shake the market.

ETH has been quite volatile recently; will this influx of whales signal a new round of market activity? What do you think?
